Data Retention Policies
Setting up your retention policies all you to manage and control your backup storage needs over time while protecting your mission critical data. Each one of your backed up files could have several revisions stored on the Xpress Host servers. These revisions represent different versions of the backed up files over time. Xpress Host refers to the act of removing unwanted files as purging. Our retention policy give you the ability to specify how long you want to keep all revision of your files and how long after that you would like to keep daily, weekly, monthly and yearly historic revisions of your files. You can setup different policies for sections of your data to produce a custom data retention policy for your company’s specific needs.
